Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Follow Focus System

The Tilta Nucleus-M wireless lens control system has a transmission range of 300 meters and includes two lens drive motors with built-in wireless receivers, a FIZ hand controller and two hand grips – one for focus control and the other for aperture and zoom. Each lens drive motor has a cine 0.8 MOD standard gear wheel and two 7-pin connectors that allow each motor to be freely interchanged or interchangeable. The motors are powered by daisy chaining via 7-pin cables and each motor includes a 19mm rod clamp with a 15mm reduction sleeve.

The FIZ hand controller allows control of focus, iris and zoom and includes a neck strap. The hand grips have adapters that allow the controllers to be mounted on ARRI compatible rosettes or 25/30mm diameter rosettes such as those used with gimbals. The system comes in a waterproof hard case to protect your gear during transport and storage.

Please note that batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. The system supports three ranges: low, medium and high. It supports up to 15 channels to choose from, and the drivers are paired with each motor using the motor ID. The FIZ handheld unit can control three channels (focus, zoom and iris) and also takes control of the hand grips.

The motors can be calibrated on lenses with both fixed and moving stops, for example on photographic lenses with gear wheels for follow focus. The motors have standard 0.8 MOD 32 pitch gears to the cine standard. Each motor includes a 19mm rod clamp and a 15mm reduction sleeve, allowing the motors to be mounted on a 15mm or 19mm rod. The motors are powered from a D-Tap connector and then pass power by daisy chaining through 7-pin connectors with included cables.

The FIZ hand controller and each hand grip are powered by two 18650 3000mAh, 3.7V Li-ion batteries. The batteries in the FIZ hand controller last over 10 hours and up to 48 hours in each hand grip when idle.
