Insurance

We offer the option to arrange UNIQA ALL-RISK insurance for rented film/media equipment and related transport.

How it works

In the cart, simply choose Insure / Do not insure.
We take care of everything necessary for you – the insurance declaration is created and sent to the insurance company automatically based on your order.
The insurance applies to your rental by calendar days according to the rental period.

What is covered

Damage to rented equipment during filming and handling.
Transport of the equipment and temporary storage (see the security rules below).
Burglary theft; so-called simple theft only if expressly agreed (see the sublimit below).
Liability for damage caused during activities related to filming (limit of CZK 10 million); business entities forming part of the crew and listed in the insurance declaration may also be co-insured.

Limits and deductibles

Property insurance: maximum indemnity limit per insurance period of CZK 20 million.
Liability: basic limit of CZK 10 million.
Deductible: fixed amount of CZK 5,000 per insured event.
Note: In certain situations under the insurance terms and conditions, such as theft between 22:00 and 06:00, an increased deductible of 20% applies, with a minimum of CZK 10,000.
“Simple theft”: covered only if expressly agreed; sublimit of CZK 50,000 / project and CZK 150,000 / insurance period; deductible of CZK 5,000.

Territorial scope

The insurance is set up automatically for Group A – the Czech Republic + AT, SK, PL, DE. Other territories are available only after prior consultation.

Security during transport and storage

The equipment must be not visible from the outside during transport; the vehicle must have an immobiliser/alarm.
Loaded vehicles must be parked in guarded areas or under supervision; short interruptions of transport are permitted for a maximum of 2 hours in illuminated and busy locations, such as petrol stations.
For theft between 22:00 and 06:00, the increased deductible rules apply (see above), unless the vehicle is in a locked garage/hall or in an area with permanent security.

Important exclusions

The insurance does not apply to drones or accessories during their operation/flight.
The insurance does not cover damage caused by gross negligence, normal wear and tear, or unexplained disappearance of the item.

Procedure in the event of damage

Contact us immediately and stop using the damaged equipment.
Take photographic documentation and complete a report; in the event of theft, notify the Police of the Czech Republic without delay.
Follow our instructions, such as obtaining a service report. Failure to do so may result in a reduction or refusal of indemnity.

Insurance price

Minimum insurance premium per project: CZK 500.
Insurance is charged for each calendar day according to the rental period.
