RODE NTG4+

The RODE NTG4+ is a professional directional shotgun condenser microphone designed for film, television and radio production. It builds on the successful NTG2 model and adds a number of enhancements that increase its performance and flexibility in sound recording.

One of the key features of the NTG4+ is the integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides up to 150 hours of operation on a single charge. Charging is done via a micro-USB port, making it easy to replenish power from a variety of sources such as a computer, powerbank or USB adapter.

The microphone features digital function switching via touch buttons that allow for quick and silent operation. Three functions are available:

-High-pass filter 75 Hz to remove low-frequency noise and vibration.

-10 dB attenuation (PAD) to reduce sensitivity when recording loud sound sources.

-High-Frequency Boost for improved intelligibility and clarity.

The NTG4+ has a directional supercardioid characteristic that effectively suppresses unwanted ambient noise and focuses on the sound source in front of the microphone. The frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ensures detailed and balanced sound reproduction across the entire spectrum.

Lightweight and durable aluminum construction with a matte black finish ensures long life and resistance to wear and tear. A WSNTG4 wind protector, RM5 microphone mount and USB charging cable are also included, allowing flexible use in a variety of conditions.
