Metabones Canon EF to Micro 4/3 Adapter

The T Speed Booster XL 0.64x Adapter for Canon EF full-frame lenses on select Micro Four Thirds cameras from Metabones allows you to mount Canon EF full-frame lenses on Micro Four Thirds cameras. The adapter’s optics help maximize the apparent angle of view of the attached lens while providing a 1.3 stop increase in lens aperture range.

When a lens designed for 35mm film or similarly sized full-frame sensors is attached to a camera with a Micro Four Thirds sensor, it projects an image larger than the sensor can capture. This results in a narrower effective angle of view for the lens, creating a so-called crop factor. The T Speed Booster XL 0.64x adapter condenses the light from a lens designed for full-frame sensors and projects it onto the Micro Four Thirds sensor. This allows the sensor to use more light and effectively reduces the crop factor, while providing an additional 1.3 stops of light for each lens aperture setting.

The adapter is made of aluminum alloy for durability and minimal weight, and the mounting rings are brass to reduce wear. Includes six optical elements in four groups for optical clarity and color fidelity. Includes a removable tripod base with 3/8″ thread compatible with Arca-Swiss heads.

The adapter supports electronic communication between the camera and lens, allowing the use of autofocus, image stabilization and aperture control from the camera. It also allows EXIF data storage when used with compatible lenses and cameras.
