The device is equipped with two 7200 RPM professional drives that can be configured in RAID 0, RAID 1 or JBOD modes to suit your needs. RAID 0 mode allows for maximum performance and speed, ideal for editing high-definition video, working with large files or backing up large volumes of data. RAID 1 mode provides data mirroring for maximum security and protection against data loss.

The LaCie 2big Thunderbolt 2 features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, allowing you to daisy chain up to six devices using a single Thunderbolt port on your computer.
