DJI Transmission Combo

Transmit high-definition video from over 3 miles away (in line-of-sight) from your DJI drone or monitor stabilizer with this Transmission with High-Bright Monitor Combo from DJI. The kit includes a transmitter and monitor/receiver that transmits up to 1080p60 video using O3 Pro’s highly efficient transmission technology over Wi-Fi at 2.4 and 5 GHz. Optional high-performance antennas can be purchased to increase signal quality and distance. The high-brightness monitor has 1500 cd/m² brightness, 1920 x 1200 resolution and a touchscreen display.

The system supports automatic frequency switching to find the strongest signal, and works with AES 256 encryption to keep your video protected from unwanted views. It can transmit simultaneously to two receivers in control mode, and can transmit to an unlimited number of receivers in broadcast mode with slightly less power. The control mode allows control of the stabilizer or camera by touch screen or physical gestures using the built-in gyro sensor.

Units can be powered by the WB37 battery or via DC input, or can be powered directly from a DJI stabilizer such as the Ronin 2 or RS 3. The monitor provides various image tools such as frame guide, waveform and false color, and allows importing custom LUTs. With an optional expansion board, the monitor can output HDMI and SDI signals and also adds DC input and connectivity to Master Wheels and Force Pro.

Long-term HD live streaming

DJI Transmission uses O3 Pro transmission technology, which offers an incredible 20,000 feet of transmission distance on the ground. It also supports 1080p60 resolution transmission with a maximum bitrate of 50 Mbps and live audio monitoring at 16-bit 48 kHz, providing crews on large stages with excellent remote visual and audio monitoring.

Ultra-low end-to-end latency

The video transmitter and receiver use the same chip design as the Ronin 4D, with each link explicitly optimized to provide ultra-low transmission latency when paired with cinema cameras such as the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF.

Smooth automatic frequency switching

The O3 Pro adds DFS bandwidth on top of the traditional 2.4 and 5.8 GHz, offering up to 23 channel options, providing professional crews with multiple compatible and uninterrupted transmission channels.

DJI Transmission supports automatic triple-band frequency switching that automatically scans the electromagnetic environment for the best wireless channel.

With the built-in frequency scanner, users can even manually select a channel to avoid interference between devices.

When high-performance antennas are installed, the transmission capacity is further increased.

One transmitter with multiple receivers for coordinated shooting

Two transmission modes are available.

In control mode, DJI Transmission provides optimal transmission performance. Monitoring can take place from two receivers simultaneously, while the Ronin 2 and RS 3 Pro stabilizers and camera can be controlled remotely.

Transmission mode can be activated beyond control mode to allow an unlimited number of receivers (transmission power varies from control mode).

On larger and more dynamic scenes, DJI Transmission can operate with 20 or more transmitters sending signals to 20 or more devices, resulting in a smooth, coordinated experience that is difficult to achieve with traditional transmission systems.

Encrypted transmission

DJI Transmission supports AES 256-bit interconnection and encryption to prevent confidential information leaks. Together with DJI’s proprietary chip and transmission protocol, DJI Transmission is able to ensure the security of your footage.
