Canon Extension Tube EF 25 II

When using TTL exposure metering in the camera, it is not necessary to perform exposure compensation (compensation is only necessary when using manual exposure meters).

This updated version II is now fully compatible with Canon Digital EF-S lenses as well as standard EF and TS-E lenses.

The EF 25 II Extension Tube is recommended for lenses with focal lengths of 50mm or more (the EF-S 18-55mm can be used at medium and telephoto settings).

The use of extension tubes makes the distance between the back of the lens and the film surface longer, allowing you to shoot at shorter distances from the subject. Extension tubes are therefore often used for macro photography and sometimes for close-up portraits.
