The ARRI ALEXA Mini features a Super 35 ALEV III sensor with 14+ EV dynamic range, up to 200 fps capability and active ARRIRAW, 4:3 and High-Speed licenses, while weighing only ~2.3 kg. The Production Kit expands the basic package with all the accessories needed for a full day of shooting in crew mode – just mount the optics of your choice.
Media and power supply
Six CFast cards with a total capacity of 1.5 TB allow up to 3 h of 3.2K ProRes HQ recording or ~90 min of 2.8K ARRIRAW at 24 fps, eliminating frequent data offloading. Six Bebob V150 batteries cover over 8 h of camera and accessory operation; the VAS2 recharges two batteries simultaneously and also functions as an XLR power supply.
Wireless video & focus
DJI Transmission delivers a clear 1080p60 signal with under 50ms latency, and with the integrated remote monitor, you can control the camera or gimbal at the same time. The three-motor Nucleus-M handles iris/focus/zoom and is powered by a single cable via daisy-chain, simplifying wiring on gimbals or steadicam.
Mounting and ergonomics
The MAP-2 maintains a low profile and allows mounting of both 15mm LWS and 19mm studio rods, so the matte-box and lens supports can be interchanged without repositioning the camera. The entire rig weighs under 7 kg (camera + accessories without optics), so it remains suitable for Ronin 2, Movi Pro and drones in the < 25 kg category.
