ALEXA Mini – ARRI image in the smallest package

ALEXA Mini maintains 14+ EV of dynamic range and up to 200 fps at a weight of only ~2.3 kg . Active ARRIRAW, 4:3 and HS licenses enable clear 4:3 ARRIRAW recording, ideal for anamorphic glass.

Atlas Mercury 1.5× – a modern “vintage” look

The 36 / 42 / 72 mm T2.2 set covers wide, standard and portrait ranges. The lenses provide 1.5× squeeze, gold streak flares, a 14-blade aperture and a uniform 95mm front Ø, making it easy to use filters. The weight of 1.1 – 1.6 kg is about half that of most pro anamorphics, so the rig remains gimbal-friendly.

Accessories for crew workflow

• DJI Transmission transmits 1080p60 over distances up to 6km with 70ms latency – ideal for both overhead and AC.

• The Nucleus-M triple-motor bridge allows separate focus/iris/zoom control; 7.2-24V power via daisy-chain minimizes cabling.

• The Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom weighs just 98 g (195 g with sun hood) and accommodates two 4×5.65″ filters.

• The SmallHD Cine 7 offers a 7″ 1920×1200 IPS panel with 1800 nit brightness for daytime exteriors.

Recording and power without compromise

Six certified Angelbird AV PRO AR 256 GB cards provide 430 MB/s sustained write for ARRIRAW; the 1.5 TB total capacity covers ~90 min of ARRIRAW 2.8K@24p or ~3 h of ProRes HQ 3.2K.

Six Bebob V150 micros (143 Wh, 16 A) last for an eight-hour day; the VAS2 charger replenishes two batteries simultaneously and acts as an XLR power supply.

Rigging and anamorphic glass support

The package includes the ARRI MAP-2, 19 mm Studio and 15 mm LWS rods, and the ARRI Lens Support LS-9 for safely supporting long anamorphics. Oval bokeh filter set allows for quick experiments with depth of field and “flare” character.
