The ARRI ALEXA Mini offers a Super 35 ALEV III sensor with 14+ stops of dynamic range, up to 200 fps, and active ARRIRAW, 4:3 and High-Speed licenses, while weighing only ~2.3 kg. The Production Kit expands the basic package with all the accessories needed for a full day of crew-based shooting — just add your chosen lens.
Media and power
Two CFast cards with a total capacity of 512 GB allow up to ~1 hour of 3.2K ProRes HQ recording or ~30 minutes of ARRIRAW 2.8K at 24 fps, reducing the need for frequent data offloading. Four Bebob V150 batteries cover over 5 hours of camera and accessory operation; the VAS2 charges two batteries at the same time and also works as an XLR mains power supply.
Wireless video & focus
DJI Transmission provides a clean 1080p60 signal with latency under 50 ms, and thanks to the integrated remote monitor, it can also be used to control the camera or gimbal. The three-motor Nucleus-M handles iris/focus/zoom and is powered via a single daisy-chain cable, simplifying cable management on gimbals or steadicams.
Mounting and ergonomics
MAP-2 keeps the profile low and allows both 15 mm LWS and 19 mm studio rods to be mounted, so matte boxes and lens supports can be swapped without rebuilding the camera. The full rig weighs under 7 kg (camera + accessories without lens), making it suitable for Ronin 2, Movi Pro and drones in the <25 kg category.
